Self-developing holographic photopolymer

This Instant Hologram Film is a photopolymer material that develops the hologram as it is forming, and as a result does not need any separate developing or chemicals. Although the film is light sensitive before it is exposed, it is possible to make holograms in full room light or a classroom, as the laser exposure for the hologram is more active than the room light exposure. After exposure, the film's active components have been consumed, and the hologram is ready to be viewed immediately and will not be affected by room lights or additional laser light during viewing. This aspect of the film also makes hologram exposures very forgiving, because it is very difficult to overexpose the film. Typical hologram exposures with low power lasers are about 5 minutes, when only some seconds with Silver Halide materials (U08 and U04).
